HAVE ANY OF YOUR SERVICES CHANGED DUE TO COVID-19?

> Yes! I have transitioned all my lovely clients to Online Training, with in-person sessions currently limited and subject to availability and a Surrey-based location.

 

WHY SHOULD I TRY ONLINE PERSONAL TRAINING?

> Whilst we have all been adjusting to the new social and health norms, Online Personal Training has proved to be a flexible and highly effective exercise option for many. Even though it may not replace your favourite fitness class, studio or in-person session, what we see now is a movement towards value and flexibility which is what I can offer.

> With an Online PT Session, you get the same level of attention and expertise (as an in-person session) driving the results you want but, at half the price!

    > Whether you want my undivided attention or if you want to buddy up with friends and/or family to enjoy a shared experience, check out the my current pricing and packages to find one that works for you! It is a great way to keep everyone accountable!

     

    DO YOU OFFER IN-PERSON TRAINING AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MAKE IT A COVID-SECURE ENVIRONMENT?

    > I predominantly offer Online Training with in-person sessions being limited and subject to availability, location and COVID-19 regulation and procedures.

    > In-person sessions will only be considered if Surrey-based and in an outdoor location. Please contact me for more information and session availability.

    >  Both myself and clients will have their temperature checked upon arrival at in-person sessions using an infrared (contactless) thermometer.  

    > Exercise mats and training equipment are no longer being offered for in-person sessions (sorry!). All clients must bring their own mat and equipment to each session. Classes can be designed and programmed to make best use of clients own equipment, if requested in advance. Sessions will otherwise be programmed using body weight-only. 

    > I will be wearing a face mask throughout each in-person session. Clients can choose whether to wear a mask when training - it is recommended but it is optional. 

    > Hand sanitiser will be available on location if required.

    > Floor markers (cones) will be in place to indicate safe distances between clients and myself. These will also be sanitised before and after each session/client.

     

    DO YOU OFFER GROUP TRAINING? 

    > Yes, yes and yes! Small group "trio" packages are already available for groups of 3 people! See pricing and options here.

    > Larger group training starts with 4+ people. Please get in touch to discuss further and I will create a bespoke pricing package and programme for you. 

     

    WHAT HAPPENS BEFORE WE START TRAINING? 

    > Before we start we will connect over a 30 minute phone consultation to 1) discuss fitness or spatial/location limitations, 2) why you want sessions and what you want to achieve and 3) how we might design a realistic programme that gets you a step closer to your goals!

    > You will be emailed a link to complete a PAR-Q & ICRW Form which needs to be completed at least 24 hours prior to first session.

     

    WHAT IS A PAR-Q & ICRW FORM?

    > A Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) is standard practice for sports and fitness professionals! It is questionnaire that is used to identify any health and lifestyle issues prior to starting a new exercise programme. Some issues might warrant a GP referral and doctors advice prior to sessions starting but generally the answers you give are used to further tailor the programme to you! Once completed will be valid for 12 months, unless there are any changes to your health and lifestyle, whereby you will be obliged to re-submit.

    > An Informed Consent/Release form (ICRW) is intended to inform all clients of the potential risks of exercise, and of their responsibility for their own actions. It is widely used and is standard practice within the fitness industry, aiming to establish liability terms if an incident or injury should occur. 

     

    HOW DO I SCHEDULE SESSIONS & HOW FAR DO WE NEED TO BOOK AHEAD?

    > Once you have purchased sessions I will contact you via email or phone to schedule in sessions.

    > We can schedule sessions either on a week-by-week basis or plan all dates/times in advance at the start. Happy to work around you!

     

    WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CHANGE THE TIME OF MY SESSION?

    > If anything comes up and you need to change the date or time of your session. I ask for at least 24 hrs notice. Exceptional circumstances and emergencies excluded!

     

    CAN I CANCEL SESSIONS AND GET A REFUND?

    > Refunds will be granted for packages that have not been used or can be transferred to another person of your choice/finding. For example: if you have bought a pack of 10x sessions and have not used them, you will be granted a full refund or can transfer them to a friend. However, if you have used 1x or more sessions you will be obliged to use all sessions within the timeframe specified. Note that partially used packages cannot be transferred to another person. Please read my T&C's before you make a purchase.

    > If you are in any doubt and not sure what package is best for you, please contact me before purchasing. I will be happy to chat through needs and advise on best options!

       

    DO I NEED EQUIPMENT AT HOME FOR ONLINE SESSIONS?

    > An exercise or yoga mat is highly recommended for at home/online sessions. Specific equipment lists will be provided in advance for each session, if required. Not to worry if you do not have equipment. I will provide you with some at-home alternatives that will work just as well!

    > Let me know if you have any specific kit at home that you would like to use and have programmed into sessions.

     

    I CAN SEE YOU ARE ON CLASSPASS BUT I CAN'T FIND ANY AVAILABLE SESSIONS?

    >  ClassPass sessions have been, and will continue to be restricted for the time being! Due to COVID-19 I am taking every possible precaution to limit my travel and contact with people not only to protect myself but more-so, to protect clients and loved ones that might be at risk. I hope you understand!
