CLIENT CORNER

Making a commitment to yourself to become fitter, lead a healthier lifestyle or achieve a specific goal can be a challenging and daunting process.

This is why sometimes, we need to take the pressure off the "end goal" and stop to reflect on how far we have come. A nice way of doing this is to identify the smaller, perhaps less tangible results, we gain along the way.

These achievements or progress markers not only keep us on track and focussed, but they are often unexpected! Regular exercise positively impacts and changes us in so many ways, and each persons' journey is different.

I therefore wanted to create a space for you to meet a few of my amazing clients and join me in celebrating some of their "small wins"!

Adam Russell Personal Trainer helps clients become more active and feel good.

Alice has really developed her fitness since training with me. She's eager to learn how to move correctly, always turns up with a smile and has such positive approach to training...once she has got through the warm up!

SMALL WIN: "I now feel like an active person. All the time. Instead of someone who dipped in and out of fitness my whole life."

Adam Russell Personal Trainer helps clients become more active and improve her running personal best time.

Nav was the lucky winner of a free session with me through a competition run at ITV. She decided to continue training with me, and all her hard work and effort is reflected in her improved strength and cardiovascular fitness!

SMALL WIN: "I managed to take over 2 minutes off my 10K time and achieved a personal best of 56 minutes, which felt great!"

Adam Russell Personal Trainer helps clients become more active and enjoy running as a new hobby.

Laura has been brilliant at engaging with her fitness journey, and has been incredibly consistent both with her training and nutrition over the last year. Her activity levels have increased and she has picked up a new fitness hobby along the way!

SMALL WIN: "I now enjoy running outdoors - I never thought I'd be a runner!"

...more to come! Stay tuned.
